Coconut Jelly Manicure: The Freshest Nail Trend of Late Summer 2026

Coconut Jelly Manicure: The Freshest Nail Trend of Late Summer 2026
Coconut flavour pairs perfectly with just about anything: a refreshing drink, aromatic curry or a piece of dried coconut coated in chocolate. And especially with a jelly dessert.

Coconut milk and coconut flesh have a delicate, creamy texture that looks perfect in the layers of a Piña Colada jelly shot or at the bottom of a glass of bubble tea.

So, what if we brought this idea to life in a manicure — Coconut Jelly?

Here’s everything you need to know about the most refreshing nail trend of summer 2026.
Trending Coconut Jelly manicure

The Coconut Jelly manicure trend got its name thanks to renowned nail artist Tom Bachik, who created a sheer white manicure for Anne Hathaway for a film premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month. While the design is reminiscent of the popular milky manicure, Coconut Jelly has a slightly bolder look.

In recent months, the Coconut Jelly manicure has been appearing more and more frequently on Instagram feeds. A similar style was also worn by Brooke Shields a few winters ago: her long almond-shaped nails were covered with a translucent white polish, creating a jelly-like effect reminiscent of coconut.
“Coconut Jelly” — The New Manicure Trend Worth Trying
Part of the trend’s appeal comes from the fact that it has transitioned from the colder months into the height of summer. Its icy, fresh aesthetic is perfect for hot weather, when all you want is a sense of coolness and lightness.

How to Create a “Coconut Jelly” Manicure

As always, start by preparing your nails: tidy up the cuticles, shape the nails, degrease the nail plate and apply a base coat. Then apply One Step Gel Polish, 02. Finish with a top coat to give your manicure a beautiful shine and help the colour last longer. Alternatively, instead of gel polish, you can use 4 Season Jelly Builder Gel, 03 for nail modelling.
After applying the base, gel polish, builder gel and top coat, each layer must be cured in a UV lamp according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Once your manicure is ready, you can head out — perhaps to the cinema, with an unopened coconut jelly bubble tea in hand. Add some perfectly salted popcorn, and you’re all set to enjoy the film to the fullest.
