What is jelly gel for nail extension and shaping?
Do you appreciate sophisticated long nails and impeccable manicures? The modern nail industry is constantly evolving, offering innovations that simplify life for both technicians and clients. One of these innovations is gel jelly — a material that allows an experienced technician to achieve perfect results more quickly and easily. It significantly reduces the time for extensions and corrections, while ensuring the strength and aesthetics of the coating. Learn more about this convenient and effective product in our article.

What is gel jelly for nail extensions?

Gel jelly is a type of modeling gel with a thick, jelly-like consistency, providing the technician with maximum control during the process. Due to its high viscosity, the product allows the technician to model all five nails at once, significantly reducing the overall extension time.

Key benefits of gel jelly include strength, elasticity, and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced technicians. The gel applies evenly and provides dense, rich coverage with just one layer. It is also durable and free from any unpleasant odor.

The material quickly and securely adheres to the nail plate, preventing lifting. Polymerization takes just 2 minutes in a UV or hybrid lamp, or 120 seconds in an LED lamp.

What is gel jelly used for?

Gel jelly is perfect for:

- Nail extensions, corrections, and repairs;
- Performing solid color manicures under a coating, as well as for sculpted French nails;
- Nail lengthening;
- Strengthening the nail plate;
- Suitable for use in various nail art techniques.

This product is an excellent solution for thin, brittle, peeling, and problem nails. Regardless of the shape and length of the nail plate, working with gel jelly is a true pleasure: it is pliable, easy to model, and provides flawless results.

How to Apply Gel Jelly?

Before applying gel jelly, just like with any other sculpting products, it is important to thoroughly prepare the nail plate. First, remove the natural shine, degrease the surface, push back the cuticle, and remove the pterygium. Then, apply a primer. If building the nails is planned, the technician selects the appropriate forms.

Next, apply a base coat, and only after that, apply a small amount of gel jelly to the nail plate. The material is evenly distributed from the center to the edges, forming the primary nail architecture, after which the layer is polymerized in the lamp. The next layer helps create the correct curve and corrects any imperfections. After the final polymerization, the result is refined with a file to achieve a perfect finish, and then sealed with a top coat.

Important:While working with gel jelly, keep the jar closed. This prevents the material from thickening and preserves its working properties.
